The trajectory of Darin’s career began in the autobody trade after high school, followed by certification in the electrical trade, which led him to the dynamic oil fields of Fort McMurray. Over nearly a decade, he honed his skills, gaining invaluable experience in both oilfield and commercial sectors.
In 2005, Darin embarked on a bold journey, leaving Fort McMurray to establish his presence in the construction industry. Armed with determination, a skid steer, and a dump trailer, he laid the groundwork for his own empire. Through hard work and dedication, Darin founded a successful commercial exterior maintenance company, overseeing a vast network of up to 60 subcontractors and serving major malls and grocery stores across Alberta.
Undeterred by challenges, Darin diversified his portfolio in 2016, making his mark in the film industry with the release of a captivating movie. This venture fueled his passion for the film and broadcast industry, showcasing his ongoing commitment to innovation and investment.
Never one to rest on his laurels, Darin extended his entrepreneurial reach to Hawaii, delving into the coffee business and introducing his brand to eager consumers in Hawaii and later Canada. In 2017, he turned his attention to real estate, successfully entering the luxury home development market in Kelowna and the Lower Mainland.
Despite his growing ventures, Darin remains grounded in his roots, continuing to build houses in Kelowna while simultaneously spearheading two new endeavors: a spa distribution company and Coastal Business Advisors. His story exemplifies endless possibilities, fueled by courage, resilience, and an unwavering pursuit of dreams.
